Managing Principal Roxanne Edwards Selected to INTA Public Information Committee
DALLAS – Klemchuk LLP, a leading intellectual property (IP), litigation, and business law firm, announces Managing Principal Roxanne Edwards will serve in the Public Information Committee of the International Trademark Association (INTA) for a two-year term beginning in January 2018. Since her initial involvement with INTA in 2002, Edwards has served in the Public Information Committee (2016-2017), the Roundtables Committee (2007-2013), and the Law Firm Subcommittee (2008-2009). She has also moderated numerous local INTA Roundtables as well as Table Topics at the Annual Meetings over the past decade on topics such as U.S. trademark prosecution and examination practice, trademarks in corporate transactions, and online brand and trademark enforcement.
Edwards attended the 2017 INTA Annual Meeting in Barcelona, Spain, where she presented the table topic “Brand/IP Enforcement and Online Marketplaces: How to Maneuver the Challenges.”
Edwards has over 15 years of experience representing companies’ intellectual property interests around the globe. Her practice focuses on global brand development, management, and enforcement. Edwards earned a J.D., cum laude, from Tulane University School of Law, and a B.S. from Florida State University.
