DALLAS – Klemchuk LLP, a leading intellectual property (IP), technology, and business law firm, announces the sponsorship of Lunch ’N Learn, a lunch, presentation and networking event for The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) in Dallas on August 16, 2016. Managing Principal, Aaron Davidson gives presentation at the luncheon covering updates to the judicial challenge to the Department of Labor Fiduciary Rule. The NAIFA - Dallas is a 501(c)(6) non-profit professional trade association. NAIFA national was formed in 1890 (126 years) and NAIFA-Dallas was founded in 1913 (103 years). The NAIFA mission is to “encourage and facilitate the professional growth of insurance and financial services providers, to promote their public image, and to foster the highest ethical standards in all business relationships.”

NAIFA provides a monthly luncheon with a speaker giving ideas to members regarding sales, business practices, motivation, etc. and provide continuing education classes to enable members to have enough hours to renew their licenses every two years. In addition, NAIFA provides networking opportunities, some specifically geared to those young advisors less than 5 years in the business, the Young Advisors Team (YAT).

Davidson primarily focuses on commercial and intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret matters. Davidson has extensive experience in life sciences litigation representing pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in products liability and government investigations, and has been featured in “Texas Lawyer” for his defeat of a nine-figure patent damages claim. Davidson earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and holds a B.A. in Political Science from Taylor University, graduating magna cum laude.
