Managing Principal Kirby Drake Shares Trademarks’ 'Nuts and Bolts' at ACS Small Chemical Businesses Meeting

Drake’s presentation “Nuts and Bolts of Trademark Selection and Protection in the US” will cover an overview of trademark maintenance and protection. Drake will also share some of the perils and pitfalls that may arise when registering, protecting or maintaining a trademark.
Drake currently serves as Chair of the ACS Patents and Related Matters Committee. Additionally, Drake also holds leadership roles with the State Bar of Texas and the Dallas Bar Association.
Drake is experienced in many areas of intellectual property law and focuses primarily on intellectual property litigation and patent prosecution, addressing a broad range of technologies. Drake earned a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude, in chemistry from Duke University.
