Greek Salad

Few things say Summer like a freshly made, cold Greek salad. This is one of our favorite Greek salad recipes from the McCormick company using their spice ingredients. This salad is a nice accompaniment to pita bread, hummus, ziziki sauce, and Greek chicken.

Ingredients:

  • Greek vegetable salad:

    • 3 cups of seeded and diced cucumbers

    • 3 cups of seeded and diced tomatoes

    • 1/2 cup of thinly sliced red onions

    • 1/4 cup of crumbled feta cheese

  • Herb vinaigrette:

    • 1/2 cup of olive oil

    • 1/4 cup of white wine vienagr

    • 1 tsp of McCormick Rosemary Leaves

    • 1 tsp of McCormick Whole Thyme Leaves

    • 1/2 tsp of McCormick Garlic Powder

    • 1/2 tsp of McCormick Oregano Leaves

Directions:

  1. Dice cucumbers and tomatoes, slice onions, and crumble feta cheese into a mixing bowl.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil, white wine vinegar, and herbs.

  3. Pour vinaigrette mix into mixing bowl and toss well.

  4. Refrigerate ingredients before serving.
