Legal Assistant

We are looking for a legal assistant to help us with client services, legal support, and admin support for the firm’s CEO
We have an immediate need for a smart, humble, and hungry admin to join our legal team. This role is ideal for a team player that wants to make an impact daily on the lives of our clients and support our legal team. This position offers significant opportunity for career development through developing skills in the three primary areas of responsibility: client intake and services, legal support, and admin support for the firm’s CEO. Because this is such an important role on our team, we want to be clear that this is not a “foot in the door” position. We are looking for a candidate that is passionate about making a career out of this position.
At least three years experience with a law firm is required.
This is a full-time, in-office position in Dallas, Texas.
Core Responsibilities
The core responsibilities for this position will fall primarily into the following three categories, but we require someone with a “can do” attitude to help out with a variety of different projects from time to time:
Client Intake & Service —
Managing client intake, conflicts checks, engagement and disengagement letters
Manage potential new client leads, prospects, and sales funnels (e.g., screen new leads and schedule discovery calls)
Manage the firm’s CRM
Run client anniversary and keep-in-touch programs
Book client payments and trust transfers
Support invoicing and collection of ARs
Legal Support —
Managing calendaring, scheduling, and docketing for legal team
Litigation support, including filing litigation documents
General admin support to legal team
Drafting documents and notices for legal team
Admin Support for Firm’s CEO —
Managing calendaring, scheduling, and events
Business development support
Special projects
General administrative support and back-up support to the operations team as needed
required skills:
Minimum of 3+ years experience, in a similar role, at a law firm
Experience with CRMs, Clio, QuickBooks Online, and Dropbox
Team player, anticipates the needs of others
Detail-oriented and analytical
Experience working in a fast-paced legal environment
Organized and capable of handling projects in an efficient manner
Personal responsibility for each assigned task and follow through to completion by the assigned deadline
Positive attitude and genuine passion for the job and the firm’s success
