Fall Workplace Traditions – Trick-or-Treating, Chili Cook-Off, and Thanksgiving Potluck
At Klemchuk LLP, we have annual events that bring the firm and its families together to celebrate the fall season. These fall workplace traditions are fun to look forward to each year.
Each October, the children are invited to the office, to trick-or-treat in their costumes and work on crafts. Some of the older kids have been participating in this annual event for over 12 years. “It’s always fun to see all the kids dressed up, enjoying some fun treats, and playing together,” said Lauren Taliaferro, Director of Operations, “my kids look forward to it each year.”
The Chili Cook-Off gathers competitive cooks for the making and tasting of chili and cornbread. The various chili and cornbread entries are voted on, and are awarded prizes for “Hotter than Hades”, “Best Overall”, “Most Likely to Come From a Can”, and “Best Cornbread”.
Before the Thanksgiving holiday, our employees bring their appetites and cooking skills to the Office Thanksgiving Potluck lunch. The Firm provides the meat, while the employees provide the side dishes and desserts. Everyone sits down to eat together and enjoy each other’s company and share some great food together.
Each of these annual fall workplace traditions are part of what makes Klemchuk LLP unique, and a great place to work. “We look forward to these traditions and slowing down for a minute during the busy holiday season to spend time together,” said Chelsea Green, Chief Operating Officer.
