Integrity and Our Core Values

Integrity is attributed to various aspects of a person’s life. We speak of attributes such as professional, intellectual and artistic integrity. However, the most philosophically important sense of the term ‘integrity’ relates to general character. In fostering a successful and honest work place, hiring employees that exhibit integrity is crucial to a company’s success. That is why our firm believes that a foundation of core company values is so important. Klemchuk LLP’s Core Values of Service, Passion, Courage, Commitment and Innovation, when followed, help define our collective professional integrity. Core Values are one way to help define integrity in the workplace. Core Values hold employees accountable and set clear parameters for what the company expects of their behavior and character.

Susan Babbitt in her book ‘Personal Integrity, Politics and Moral Imagination states that a society that is conducive to integrity is one that enables people to develop and make use of their capacity for critical reflection. The more we reflect and exhibit our Core Values, the closer we get to the achievement of integrity. Continue to practice our values. Remember – integrity in one area of your life can flow into others!
