DALLAS – The 2018 relay and Dallas Memorial March were a huge success! In preparation for next year’s 2019 Memorial May Campaign, Carry The Load has announced one more opportunity to honor your loved ones.

Simply share a photo of who you are carrying on Facebook or Instagram now through July 31st, 2018 with the hashtag #CarryTheLoad, and it will be featured in the 2019 Memorial May Campaign. Don’t miss this chance to share your loved one’s story!

During the 2018 season, Carry The Load raised $2.1 M for programs supporting veterans, police, firefighters and first responders. It surpassed the previous year’s fund raising of nearly $2 M.

Carry The Load is a nonprofit passionate about restoring the “Memorial” part in Memorial Day. Year-round events culminate on month-long relays to Dallas from the East and West coasts for the Dallas Memorial March. Follow them on Facebook for updates on events and giving.
