Thirty Third Parallel Launches Kickstarter for Innovative PAL
UPDATE: The PAL Kickstarter campaign reached its $50,000 goal 10 days early and entrepreneurs Chris and Derek have now incorporated the limited-edition colored PAL as a stretch goal. Congratulations to Chris, Derek and everyone in the Thirty Third Parallel team!
Entrepreneurs Chris Grider and Derek Smith, co-founders of lighting startup Thirty Third Parallel, launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund their newest innovation, PAL.
Standing for Portable Adaptive Lighting, PAL offers a versatile, powerful light that can be paired with various accessories to enable users to make the most of their PAL in different settings. Kickstarter packages start at $49 and feature early bird specials, as well as the opportunity to meet with the Thirty Third Parallel team in Dallas for a Texas adventure.
PAL can act as a flashlight, headlamp, or bike light. The team has more accessories on the pipeline that will allow the PAL to become a lantern and a flexible surface light. PAL incorporates magnetic poles to create a user-friendly experience and provide a secure hold on accessories.
The Kickstarter campaign amassed over $8,000 in the first 36 hours. Support Thirty Third Parallel on their PAL Kickstarter, and check back soon for a feature of Thirty Third Parallel on our Conversations With Innovators series.
