Managing Principal Kirby Drake Hosts Advanced IP Law Texas Bar CLE
DALLAS – Klemchuk LLP, a leading intellectual property (IP), technology, and business law firm, announces its sponsorship of this year’s Texas Bar Continuing Legal Education Advanced Intellectual Property Law Course in Austin on February 23-24. Kirby Drake, Managing Principal, will be hosting the two-day event. Drake, who serves as Vice Chair of the State Bar of Texas Intellectual Property Section, will act as course director and will present the “Hypothetical – A Technology Startup” mini session. She will also present the workshop “IP Issues with Technology Startups” the day prior to the course.
Drake is experienced in many areas of intellectual property law and focuses primarily on intellectual property litigation and patent prosecution, addressing a broad range of technologies. Drake earned a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude, in chemistry from Duke University.
