Klemchuk LLP Annual Game Plan

DALLAS – Klemchuk LLP, a leading intellectual property (IP), litigation, and business law firm, sets an annual “game plan,” which is usually a method or tactic for professional growth and the firm’s success that year. The firm starts each year off with an All-Hands Annual Meeting discussing successes of the previous year, as well as plans and initiatives for the upcoming year. Part of the meeting is dedicated to discussing the game plan for the year.

Below are a few of Klemchuk LLP’s Annual Game Plans:

2019 Game Plan - “Who’s Got the Monkey?” The idea behind this game plan is if we all work on leaving with our own “monkeys” (i.e. tasks and issues), then we take ownership over their resolution, and our colleagues don’t get dumped on to fix others’ problems.

2018 Game Plan - “Growing Giant Pumpkins.”  This game plan was all about spending our time in the most important places.  Instead of growing lots of smaller pumpkins, we’re putting our effort into growing a fewer number of pumpkins, but larger ones.  It was meant as a metaphor for cultivating client relationships (spending the most time on the clients that most align with our values), and employee development (investing the most time on our star performers).

2017 Game Plan - “Eat That Frog.”  This game plan encouraged all of our team members to do the most important thing (and sometimes the thing they were most dreading!) first thing in the morning, so that before the day gets too far gone, they’ve already accomplished their “one thing.”

2016 Game Plan - “The Success Pyramid.”  This one illustrates the growth path of our legal professionals as they strengthen their leadership abilities.
