Attorneys, Staff Sponsor 24 ‘Angels’ This Holiday Season
DALLAS – Klemchuk LLP, a leading intellectual property (IP), technology, and business law firm, partnered with Dallas CASA, to provide gifts for children in foster care. This year, the attorneys and staff at Klemchuk LLP donated gifts for 24 children — called angels — as part of the Dallas CASA angel tree 2016. Gifts varied from baby toys and Pokemon cards for the younger kids, to tennis shoes and gift cards for the teenagers.
COO Chelsea Green and Receptionist Amber Dassinger delivered the gifts to the CASA staff.
“The CASA staff was super excited to receive such thoughtful gifts for the kids in foster care,” Green said.
Green, a volunteer with Dallas CASA, delivered her gifts to her angel, a 1-year old baby boy, and his family personally. Knowing that the baby is starting to walk, Green gave him a colorful baby walker and an activity cube.
“His face lit up when he saw the cube,” Green said. “He immediately started punching the buttons and making sounds.”
This is the fifth year Klemchuk LLP sponsors families and children in need to help them have a good Christmas without the financial burden.
Dallas CASA is a nonprofit dedicated to help abused and neglected children in protective care find safe, permanent homes.
