Associate Tiffany Johnson Leads World IP Day Celebration in Dallas
DALLAS – Klemchuk LLP, a leading intellectual property (IP), litigation, and business law firm, announces Associate Tiffany Johnson served as Dallas Lead of World IP Day 2018 with the American Intellectual Property Law Association. World IP Day, celebrated each year on April 26, highlights the role intellectual property plays in propelling innovation. This year’s theme was Powering Change: Women in Innovation and Creativity celebrating women’s innovations. Events included the panel discussion with female inventors and film screening of “Bombshell: the Hedy Lamarr Story” on Monday, April 23.
Additionally, nearly 100 Dallas ISD students learned about intellectual property at the Texas Regional Office of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Friday, April 20. Students held an Earth Day-inspired innovation competition.
Johnson serves as Vice President of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Dallas Bar Association, Intellectual Property Section for 2018, and is an Associate of the Higginbotham Inn of Court and a Fellow of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Foundation. Previously, Johnson served as President Emeritus of the National Society of Black Engineers, DFW Professionals Chapter.
Johnson focuses primarily on patent prosecution and strategic patent portfolio management. Johnson earned her J.D. cum laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University where she served as Business Editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Review. She earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
